vast cuisine prevailing in India, we excel in providing home-made south Indian cuisine with
dishes like Fish kolambu, Country chicken kolambu, mutton kolambu, meat varieties with rich
gravies, etc. The very integral part of our kitchen is the making of BIRYANI based on specialized
home-made recipes combined with the freshness of meat (Chicken/mutton/Prawn) and high
quality spices adding to its richness. Other dishes like Malli chicken, Tandoori, Fish fries, crabs
and prawn fries as well top the specialty list of our abode. These are all time favorites of our

The taste of south India
Our first eatery was a 'mess' on the Chidambaram – Cuddalore highway. While I ensured that there was a regular supply of fresh fish, mutton and other Ingredients, my mother manned the kitchen making sure that the ratio of spices in the various masalas and the recipe for each dish was accurately followed. Apart from the food, high-quality customer service ranked high on our list of priorities. Our efforts paid off and soon our Meen Kuzhambu (fish gravy) and Kari Kuzhambu (mutton gravy) become the favourite among the highway travellers Our joy knew no bounds when the word spread amongst the town's people that Hotel Devi is the place to head to for relishing food from 'namma adupankarai' (which means the kitchen). That is a testament to homestyle cooking that is followed by us. We have expanded to include dinner and we have added a few dishes to the menu on popular demand. Yet, even after being in the business for more than 18 years, the ambition to serve the best to the customers in terms of quality and taste remain unwavering. And that has helped us add to the long list of loyal customers
